I believe that sleep plays a critical role in the training process. When we sleep, our bodies repair, muscle growth and hormone synthesis occur, all of which contribute to effective training. Lack of sleep can lead to decreased energy, impaired concentration and slower recovery, which in turn will negatively impact performance.
