Frustrated Subscriber Shares Tech & Billing Ordeal with BET Streaming
I've been using BET’s streaming service (website and apps) for a few months now, but I’ve run into a bunch of issues—and I’m wondering if anyone else is going through the same. Despite paying the monthly fee (~$5.99), I can’t log in consistently, the app often fails to stream shows on my TV or phone, and I’ve had trouble canceling the subscription or even getting a refund. To make things worse, customer support is essentially nonexistent—no real help or contact info. Has anyone dealt with BET this way? What’s the best way to get support, cancel my subscription, or get a refund?

Same thing happened earlier this year when I tried out BET Plus for the first time. The billing worked instantly, but then I kept getting locked out of the app and couldn’t stream anything. It was especially frustrating on weekends when I had time to relax, only to get stuck on that loading screen. Tried multiple emails to support - no replies. So I did some digging and ended up on https://bet.pissedconsumer.com/review.html where other users were venting about identical issues. A bunch of people said their subscriptions renewed even after canceling, or the price went up without warning. Reading those reviews gave me the idea to dispute the charge through my bank and mention the complaint thread. That actually worked - they reversed the latest payment. Still no word from BET, but at least I didn’t lose the cash. If you’re stuck, go through your payment method and link it to other reports there - it might speed things up.
