The Hopetoun Arms hotel is a grade two listed building and is the highest residential hotel in Scotland, sitting 1297ft above sea level. Built in 1760 and nestled in the heart of the Lowther Hills it is in a quiet rural location a perfect stop off point if traveling north or south.
Holding 6-7 campers with 5 EHU points, stopping over is free, EHU is £10 per night. Toilets and facilities are also in plan to be added to the car park for campers!
