Oasis 2027: Campervan & Motorhome stays near the concerts

Seeing Oasis live in 2027 is the perfect excuse to make a trip of it. If you’re travelling by campervan or motorhome, finding somewhere to stay is only part of the plan: you’ll also need to work out how to reach the concert and get back to your van afterwards. We’ve brought together campsites, touring pitches and possible pub stopovers near Celtic Park in Glasgow, the Etihad Stadium in Manchester and Knebworth Park, with distances and useful transport information for each venue.

Whether you’re planning a quick overnight stay or a longer trip, this guide will help you find a base for your Oasis weekend.

Oasis play Glasgow on 21, 23, 25, 28 and 29 May, Manchester on 4, 6, 8, 11, 12, 15, 18, 19, 22, 25 and 26 June, and Knebworth on 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26 September 2027.

Glasgow: Celtic Park

Red Deer Village Holiday Park, Stepps is approximately 7–9 miles from Celtic Park. It has touring pitches suitable for motorhomes, and the site says Stepps station is a 10-minute walk away. You can travel into central Glasgow, then take a train towards Dalmarnock or Bridgeton for the stadium. Check the return train times before booking.

Strathclyde Country Park Club Campsite, Bothwell is approximately 10–13 miles away. It accepts motorhomes and is close to the M74. The site lists Bellshill as its nearest train station, so check how you would get between the campsite and station, particularly after the concert.

Eden Leisure Village, Cumbernauld is approximately 15–18 miles away and offers campervan and motorhome pitches. It is a quieter option farther outside Glasgow, but you will need to plan the full journey to and from the stadium.

Celtic FC says trains from Glasgow Central or Argyle Street to Dalmarnock and Bridgeton take you to within half a mile of Celtic Park. Allow extra time to walk to your concert entrance.

Manchester: Etihad Stadium

The stadium has its own Etihad Campus tram stop, so you can leave your van at your stopover and use Metrolink. Check the last tram back before choosing where to stay.

The Boundary, Audenshaw is listed as a motorhome pub stopover approximately 4–6 miles from the stadium. Ashton Moss tram stop offers a route to Etihad Campus. Contact the pub first to confirm that overnight parking is permitted on your concert date.

The Hawthorne Caravan & Campsite, Oldham is approximately 7–9 miles away and welcomes motorhomes. The site says a tram stop is around a 20-minute walk away.

Burrs Country Park Club Campsite, Bury is approximately 13–16 miles away. It has electric hook-up and motorhome facilities. From the site, travel into Bury and take Metrolink towards the stadium.

Well-i-Hole Farm, Greenfield is approximately 13–17 miles away and offers campervan and motorhome pitches. Plan your concert transport in advance from this countryside site.

Knebworth: Knebworth Park

Commons Wood Club Campsite, Welwyn Garden City is approximately 8–10 miles from Knebworth Park and accepts motorhomes.

Hertford Camping and Caravanning Club Site is approximately 10–13 miles away. The club suggests it as a base for visiting Knebworth.

The Candlestick, Essendon is a pub listed as a motorhome stopover approximately 11–14 miles away. Check its overnight arrangements directly before travelling.

The Beehive, Epping Green is approximately 12–15 miles away and advertises overnight campervan and motorhome parking. Contact the pub to check availability and booking conditions.

Lee Valley Caravan Park, Dobbs Weir is approximately 18–22 miles away and may be worth checking if closer sites are full.

A few things to check before booking

Book the night after your concert, especially if you are attending a Sunday show.
Ask your campsite or pub whether you can return late and whether its gates will be open.
If travelling by tram or bus, check the last service all the way back to your stopover.
If taking a taxi, agree on a post-show collection point and price in advance. Concert road closures may prevent pick-up where you were dropped off.
Use proper water and waste facilities, keep noise down when returning late and take your rubbish away.
