In 1986, this Airstream 345 was the best motorhome on the planet that money could buy. A real piece of rolling Americana history.
The current owner, john from @stealth.vans bought it 10 years ago and lovingly restored it to its former glory. He used it as a family camper van in the uk and drove it to chamonix france to do a winter season snowboarding in it. It then did the festival circuit where it could be rented in the glamping areas of all the big uk music festivals. It’s also appeared in a couple of films and it’s been rented at the drivers enclosure at the British F1. It now can be rented as a holiday let in the lovely rural devon via www.holidaycottages.co.uk
Thousands have been spent on the mechanicals but the real difference has been made inside. The original oak cabinetry has been restored, the seats re upholstered, the curtains re done and the original carpet removed and replaced by American oak flooring.
If you would like somewhere to holiday this summer the airstream site has the ability to accommodate a couple of extra camper vans with electric hook up. BBQ area, fire pit raised seating area with 180* views over the devon countryside, all in a private 1/3 acre field surrounded by woodlands.
